Biofuel fires are fuelled by a composition known as Bio-Ethanol. Ethanol is produced from renewable resources through the fermentation of sugars using natural goods such as cane, corn, beets and potatoes. The by-product of this process is further refined with clean additives to eliminate smoke, odor and soot when the fuel undergoes combustion.

Since Bio-Ethanol is derived entirely from biological products providing an extremely clean and environmentally friendly fuel, the only end results of combustion are heat, steam and carbon dioxide.

Biofuel fires are mainly decorative, they will not replace conventional heating, however they do produce a significant amount of heat, with 100% of the heat energy projected into the room.
